Who Am I?
A little bit about me...
Thank you for checking out my site. Here you can learn a little bit about me and what I've done as well as what I am attempting to accomplish. It is that last part that is most important as it has been truly said that where you came from doesn't matter nearly as much as where you are going.
Contrary to what many in the press would have you believe, Christians are neither sinister or psychopated. The primary difference between those of us who work at following the Word and many others who shy away from involvement is that we realize our shortcomings and failings, but we know there is an answer.
We are just people who share a Biblical world view which leads us to a concern for our country and the world. I have been involved in politics for more than twenty years and before that, in various other activities to improve the lives of those around me.
I have served as chairman of the Chesterfield County Republican Committee in Virginia. There are some who may dispute this, but, at the time, Chesterfield was the premier unit in the Commonwealth with regard to vote production... to the point where the county provided margins to insure victory in the 2000 and 2004 presidential races and did more than our share in 2008. This does not mean that we are just creating another wing of the Republican Party. There is plenty of blame to place on the GOP as well as so many pull back on issues of morality and justice. My work in standing for life and freedom has been recognized by Eagle Forum with the Eagle Award a few years back.
We are called to be salt and light and stand up for the widows and fatherless...and we can't do that by hiding behind church doors. We can't do this if we are afraid of offending anyone - the gospel itself is an offense to those who fail to accept it. And we can't do this by waiting for someone else to get the job done. Politics can be a nasty sport and sometimes you get bloodied and battered, But that is better than sitting on the sidelines and watching the country, and world, fall apart around us as our fellow Americans are led down the path to the godless socialism that many of the elites are pursuing.
